My friends and I arrived early to make sure we could get the best pictures without a crowd of tourists. It was definitely worth it! We then settled at a restaurant called Acantilado, where we enjoyed some of the best views on the island.
Their menu featured a variety of seafood, Mexican food, sandwiches and snacks. I can’t recommend the margaritas enough – they were the highlight of my meal!
All in all, Punta Sur was an unforgettable experience.

Exploring the magnificent reefs of Isla Mujeres is an adventure to remember!
We booked our catamaran tour with Yacht and Friends, who took care of all the details from the transportation to the docks to the mouth-watering surf and turf menu.
As we sailed away, we were mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the island from the sea. The boat had all the amenities we needed, including a bartender who served delicious cocktails – just remember not to overindulge before the snorkeling begins!
Once we arrived at the reefs, we were in awe of the vibrant, fish-filled waters. Swimming with hundreds of brightly colored fish and maybe catching a glimpse of a sea turtle or two will make for some amazing photos.

The Underwater Museum of Isla Mujeres is the perfect destination.
Dive in and explore the over 500 unique sculptures, and get up close and personal with the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs.
My party and I had no prior experience with scuba diving, so we took a 40-minute course in a pool. Then we headed out to the MUSA museum by boat, and let me tell you, the Caribbean waters were crystal clear and the abundance of underwater fauna was truly out of this world.
Scuba diving is like going to outer space, and these sculptures are a sight to behold.
I highly recommend it!

We decided to check out Taboo, a beach club and restaurant that embraces Mediterranean cuisine. The menu features fresh, original ingredients prepared in an extraordinary way, and reinterpretation of the most iconic recipes of healthy Mediterranean cuisine.
Everything we tried was delicious and definitely worth the visit. Be sure to try the Alchemist, a unique mix of Mezcal Unión Joven, mango, cucumber, ginger, and flamed fruit.
The music was amazing and the atmosphere was incredibly laid back and Caribbean-like.
For the ultimate night out in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, you must experience Taboo.
